The city of Austin, Texas launching a health awareness campaign, wanted a new and interesting way to engage with their prospective audience. Their requirements were simple they needed be able to direct users to the nearest health center where they could obtain free advice and tests.City of Austin
Radio adverts in the city asked people to text the keyword “Be Safe” and their zip code 77007.
When the message reached the Fulcrum Mobile servers the zip code was extracted from the message and cross referenced with the database.
That method made it possible to accurately provide the users with the exact distance of travel to the nearest center.
