This could be what some people may think, that mobile doesn't work and really, they may have a point. Lots of bad text campaigns are being delivered and opt outs are high with in some campaigns. This happens because the mobile channel is quite a different animal then many other communication devices. Their are currently industry guidelines that we follow but developing your own guidelines and over all campaign strategies should be the utmost important before sending any message. Why? Well think of the old saying" Failure to plan, is a plan to fail." This begins with thinking of the end results that you would like to achieve. Getting more business is always the big objective everyone needs more sales these days. But I would like to encourage you to think of what you can give. Yes! What can you give from within your business to your customers that are looking to receive something in return from your business?
Remember that the mobile channel is not the same as any other marketing channel. You are sending people information to the most private device that is kept in reach over 95% of the time! I have no time, for you wasting my time, with something that I may not care about! So when build a strategy use come creativity and allow your users to enjoy the mobile marketing experience.
